TIDUR DAN KEGEMUKAN


Untuk menurunkan berat badan, kita biasa dengar diet dan senaman adalah cara paling biasa digunakan.


Tetapi tidur yang mencukupi juga membantu 


Tidur yang berkualiti sebenarnya sama penting dengan diet dan senaman yang kita lakukan setiap hari. 


Jika kurang tidur, ia mengganggu proses penurunan berat badan.


1. Meningkatkan hormon cortisol dalam tubuh.


Kurang tidur menyebabkan hormon cortisol tinggi dalam badan. Ini menyebabkan tubuh dalam mood menyimpan lemak.


Dalam kajian yang diterbitkan dalam Jurnal Clinical Nutrition and Metabolic Care pada 2013, 

mendapati seseorang yang tidur kurang daripada enam seharu jam akan berisiko mengalami pertambahan berat badan.


2. Kurang tidur, nafsu makan meningkat


Banyak kajian mendapati bahawa kurang tidur boleh menyebabkan peningkatan nafsu makan dan ia disebabkan oleh dua hormon penting iaitu ghrelin dan leptin.


Ghrelin adalah hormon yang dilepaskan pada perut yang menandakan rasa lapar pada otak. Kadar hormon ini melonjak ketika dalam keadaan lapar.


Manakala leptin adalah hormon yang dilepaskan daripada sel lemak. Hormon ini berfungsi memberi signal lapar dan kenyang. 


Ketika seseorang tidak cukup tidur, tubuh akan menghasilkan lebih banyak ghrelin yang membuatkan kita sentiasa berasa lapar.


3. Kurang tidur jadi lesu


Kurang tidur boleh menyebabkan kelesuan pada waktu siang sehingga membuatkan seseorang tidak bersemangat dan kurang bermotivasi. Ia sekaligus membuatkan seseorang itu menjadi malas untuk bersenam dan tidak menjaga kesihatan.


Dalam keadaan itu, akan ada yang lebih cenderung untuk makan lebih banyak karbohidrat dan air manis untuk mendapatkan tenaga - yang kesannya akan meningkatkan berat badan.


4. Tak dapat buat keputusan


Apabila kurang tidur dan tidak cergas, ia akan memberi kesan kepada cara otak bekerja. Ia sekaligus memberi kesan kepada cara berfikir serta membuat keputusan termasuk tentang makanan.


Malah dalam sebuah kajian mendapati, kurang tidur dapat meningkatkan tarikan seseorang terhadap makanan tinggi karbohidrat.


Jadi pastikan kita cukup tidur sekurang-kurangnya 6-8 jam semalaman. Rancang waktu tidur kita.

Diet Ketogenik

Diet keto atau Diet Ketogenik adalah diet yang melibatkan menu makanan rendah dengan karbohidrat, protein yang sederhana dan tinggi dengan lemak bagi membantu kita membakar lemak badan dengan lebih berkesan.
